My very first Tag!!!!

Yippee!!!
For a long time there, I have read a zillion tags on a whole range of subjects, most were super funny, droll, some were boring, but all in all, I always thought to meself, well, when is my turn going to come? It didnt, *sob*, literally begged for one and Nitya very sweetly obliged:) So here goes:);I am sure I cant be as funny, but enough of preamble, lets dig in LOL

1. WAS YOUR PREGNANCY PLANNED? Yes.
2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME? Yes, but my first born was born out of my first marriage, got divorced a year after she was born, you would think that I would be once bitten, twice shy, but no, I wanted to eat the Shaadi ka laddu again LOL, touch wood, things have been fine till now and its been a year and half.
3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS? Was thrilled to bits.
4. WAS ABORTION AN OPTION FOR YOU? Since it was planned......I guess abortion wouldnt be something you would consider:)
5. HOW OLD WERE YOU? 26
6. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT? No story here, used the pee test, couldnt sleep all night in anticipation, because you are supposed to do it first thing in the morning, LOL
7. WHOM DID YOU TELL FIRST? Well, my ex , he was there, when I tried it.
8. DUE DATE? June 1st
9. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS? Evening sickness is more like it, but sporadic, so I was lucky;specially since was working right through.
10. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE? Ice cream, LOL, well, this time also its the same:)some may say I use pregnancy to indulge in it:), but seriously both times I have been capable of eating a carton of it at a time:), shocking, no:)
11. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? Although my daughter is the best thing that happened to me, I didnt have a very happy marriage then, so wasnt very happy over all, so I guess I can say, inlaws and ex upset me quite a bit.
12. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX? Female
13. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING? Well, I was big on the idea of having a boy and then a girl, you know the typical family, so was a bit crushed to fin out it was a girl, but now ofcourse, I want a girl again, LOL:) and everyone is predicting a boy this time;well, I always knew I would get the opposite of what I wanted:)
14. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY? Dont remember for the first time, but this time I have gained 7 KGs till now and I am 31 weeks down.
15. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER? Nope, was married to a Mallu and they apparently dont have such stuff;well, I am not big on customs, as you ppl may already know, so I didnt miss it!
16. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW?
17. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY? Not really, was lucky till the end, which is when Dooby decided she was happy in there, so stayed put for a week longer, spent 3 days trying to induce pain, no luck, at the end of it, ended up with a lot of pain, but no dilatation and so went for an emergency C-sec!So I am one of those, buy one get one free types:). I got to try both at one go:)
18. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH? Chennai.
19 HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? 7 hours
20. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? My dad. My mom, and sis were there with me too. We werent so nervous, since I was going in to be induced;but a whole lot of complications and pressure from my ex's family spoilt a lot of joy for us;will not get into those details, they are best forgotten.
21. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? The docs.
22. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? Natural and C-sec
23. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Well, for the C-sec part I was going ot be zonked out, but I have a phobia with not knowing what happened in my life, even if it is for a few hours(dunno what I am going to do, when I have serious surgery and I dont have a choice), so I fought with the doc for an epidural;he told me I was nuts, since I already looked ashen after a whole day of labour pain;but I "stood" my ground and got my wish. But, hey I got to see the baby!Thats what matters, right!
24. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH? 3.6 kgs
25. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN? On June 7, an entire week late, she knew back then that mommy's tummy was the safest place, the world pales in comparison:)
26. WHAT DID YOU NAME HIM/HER? Meghana
27. HOW OLD IS YOUR FIRST BORN? I would like to think she is a little short of 5 ;but she switches between "I am a baby" and " I am a little big girl!"
28. WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION WHEN THE DOCTOR ANNOUNCED THE SEX OF THE BABY? As I said before, I was big on the elder bro and little sis typical thingie, so was a bit crushed, but this time I perversely want a girl again, guess God is going to have the last laugh again and give me a boy:);lets see, a few more weeks to D-date!
29. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST REACTION ON SEEING THE BABY? Relief, because I was just too tired by then:)
30. DID YOU CRY? No, I was pretty numb for a while, due to the travails of the day and the epidural;but I remember being super anxious to see that they tagged the baby properly, because I had this big phobia, influence by movies LOL, that the baby would get exchanged in the Baby room:);assigned my sis to make sure that wouldnt happen:);I tease Dooby, even now, saying that she got exchanged and I have a Punju kid, because of her absolute craze for Punjabi music,North Indian food and Shakul Uncle(Shahrukh Khan), LOL
